Holistic Health Super Smoothie

This smoothie is is the King and Queen of Healthy Smoothies. It’s definitely not insta-worthy, but its worth goes way beyond insta! Try this recipe…your body with thank you!

Serves: 1


1 Frozen Banana

1/2 cup Frozen Organic Berries (choose organic where possible – berries are generally heavily sprayed crops and so have high levels of pesticides)

1 cup Soy Milk (NON GM or Organic)

3 dates (for extra fibre)

1 heaped tsp Ground Turmeric (powerful anti-inflammatory properties)

1/4 tsp black pepper (increases absorption of Curcumin – the active compound in turmeric – by 2000%)

1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon (lowers blood sugar and a powerful antioxidant – antioxidants destroy free radicals)

1 cup Baby Spinach (again, choose organic where possible)

1 tsp Nut Butter (my preference is macadamia nut butter)

1 tbsp Aloe Vera Gel (the edible one and not the one you put on your skin. Loaded with micronutrients and great for digestion!)


Blend all ingredients together in a powerful blender.
